The Mezz Light mezzanine lift is a simple, robust and versatile mezzanine floor goods lift for handling loads up to 250kg between 2 – 3 landings in warehouses, factories, stores and workshops.

Our mezzanine floor lifts are manufactured in the UK with a maximum 4 week lead time. Customers benefit from unlimited free site assessments with a choice of standard, off the shelf or bespoke designs. All goods lifts have full compliance with European Legislation with UK wide operator training available and 12 months parts and labour warranty as standard.
Statutory Examinations & Testing are managed through Planned Maintenance Programmes. With a nationwide network of service engineers and OEM parts on stock, owners are given peace of mind that equipment is safe to use and fully certificated throughout its life.

We provide a detailed fixed price quote and do not charge you for surveys, drawings, unloading or an access platform to aid installation. As long as you can provide a clear area to fit the lift and a power supply, we are good to go.
This depends on the type of lift that you have ordered and to some extent the degree of difficulty that your particular site may pose. A typical MezzLift can be completed in two days.
We plan the installation with you from the outset so that there are no surprises, to ensure minimum disruption but maximum safety. All of our installation engineers are directly employed by Penny Engineering so that we have full control of the project from start to finish. They are a an experienced and highly skilled team.
The final part of the installation is the commissioning and production of a statutory Thorough Examination certificate to show that the lift is safe to use. Once this is done will familiarise you with the operation of the lift and then it is yours to put into use.
We maintain a database of all our lifts should you require a copy test certificate and to let you know when the next examination is due. Penny Engineering has its our own service engineers around the UK to provide expert preventive maintenance programme and assistance with an exceptional first time fix rate as we only look after our own equipment.
Yes. Penny Engineering’s modular construction and our in-house design team make it very quick, easy and cost efficient to modify your lift. Also, being manufactured in the UK in our own factory gives us total control of the process.
We will assess both the layout and the proposed loads and discuss options with you at the survey stage. These options are shown in detailed drawings for your approval.
No, we have a crane mounted on our delivery vehicle for unloading.
We will assess the need for a scissor lift or tower scaffold to aid installation and that is at our cost and organisation.
Yes, and this can be more than one if needed - from an initial concept meeting on site through to a pre-installation inspection. All drawings are free of charge.
Yes, they are freely available. We have standard arrangements ready to download from the website, or site specific drawings can easily be produced by our design engineers.
Yes. We have hundreds of items on service contract, all carried out by our own fleet of service engineers trained specifically for our equipment. If you take out a preventative maintenance contract with us, we provide free call-outs in the unlikely event of a problem arising. See our After Sales for more information.
The first 12 months' warranty covers both parts and labour, see our After Sales section for more details. We aim to get you back up and running as quickly as possible. Should you have any issues, our service team around the UK has vans stocked with our routine parts, meaning a first-time fix is the norm.
Our quotes are usually valid for 90 days. However, some projects run beyond this time, so we can adapt to your circumstances if necessary. Please discuss this with us at the enquiry stage, and we'll make efforts to accommodate your needs.

Most mezzanine floors are under 4m travel, although our lifts can travel up to 10m. As all our lifts are designed and manufactured to order, bespoke designs are also available.
